Outstanding Service Awards

The executive of Clymont Community presents three awards annually at the Volunteer Appreciation evening. These award winners will be selected by the executive from all nominations received by the community at large. It is our way of recognizing those people who have worked together to make our community a better place to live.

Tier 1 Award

This award will be presented to a community member who has been a long standing volunteer and has been involved in a wide variety of projects, programs or activities. This person should have shown initiative, leadership and dedication to the betterment of the community. They should have been a team player who encouraged the efforts of new members and shown appreciation for the work of other volunteers.

The winner of this award will be presented with a plaque, become a free life time member and receive 2 free tickets for a community hall event of their choice and a congratulatory letter . A large trophy with names will be kept at the hall .

Tier 2 Award

This award will be presented to a member of the community who has been a long standing volunteer (minimum 4 years) in a specific project or activity. This person must have shown leadership and worked well with other committee members.

The winner of this award will receive a plaque and 2 free tickets to a C.C.L. community event of their choice and a congratulatory letter .

Youth Award

This award will go to a youth ( under 18 ) who has shown both leadership and continued dedication to the community. The winner of this award will receive a token of appreciation and congratulatory letter.

Anyone in the community may nominate a candidate but nominations for any of these awards must come with a list of specific jobs or projects the nominee has been involved in. The committee will look at volunteer work only. ( ie. Volunteer catering or bartending etc. Many people do both paid and volunteer service) All nominees must have abided by the rules and bylaws of Clymont Community League and shown themselves to be a team player. (Separate form with guidelines)
